While I am a firm believer that when it comes to our diet and lifestyle it isn’t what we do some of the time that counts, it’s what we do consistently the majority of the time!
It has been scientifically proven that cancer thrives on sugar and fat and is more detrimental in a body consuming a poor diet versus a body being fuelled with nutrients and cancer-fighting foods. Cancer is also more receptive to a body that carries excess weight and an inactive body. Many cancers rely on fat cells to grow and flourish hence I have undertaken a lot of research, amidst a plethora of information out there and conflicting advice, to find a diet rich in cancer-fighting foods and meals that will serve my body well, enhance my energy levels, help boost my immunity, balance my hormones and get rid of stored up toxins and help me get rid of stubborn body fat and fight my cancer.
I feel that I have an obligation to nurture my body and fight my cancer, with every means within my control, because I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to do so and create an environment that may be conducive to more time living life with those I love on this earth.
This requires a commitment to diet and exercise habits that are sustainable ongoing and I have found, through lots of trial and error throughout my cancer journey, a formula that is working for me and leaving me feeling more energized, refreshed, cleansed and stronger physically and mentally which is a powerful tool to fight my cancer and manage my chemo side effects more efficiently.

Our bodies are an incredible miracle, and do function day to day to help eliminate toxins and remain in a state of ‘function’ however we challenge the efficiency of this by eating the wrong foods and overloading our gut with excess sugar, artificial sweeteners, the wrong fats, highly processed foods and drinks filled with soy and chemicals. 3-day green cleanse gives the body space and time to speed up the healing process, and supports resetting systems like the digestive, lymphatic and immune system.
